Join us for October’s monthly meeting. Dustin Ingalls from Microsoft will talk about how we choose our priorities in the face of such rapid changes in the threat environment, and what we’re seeing as the most dangerous emerging threats.
In addition, ISSA Chapter President Justin White will lead an analysis of the most recent news and discuss how cyber attackers continue to evolve during his monthly Garden Fresh presentation. In this presentation, we will explore the trends that define today’s threat landscape such as recent cyber attacks, intelligence-led insights, and advanced defensive strategies.

Dustin Ingalls has been a leader at Microsoft for the past 24 years. Mr. Ingalls is currently the General Manager of the Identity & Security Operations team within Microsoft’s Digital Security & Risk Engineering organization. The team’s responsibilities include Identity & Access Management, Information Protection, Vulnerability Management, Secure Admin Services, Security Monitoring (SOC), and Incident Response. Dustin’s previous 7 years were spent leading the Windows Security Program Management team in delivering core security features to all Windows products: Phone, Tablet/PC, Windows Server, IoT/Embedded Systems and Xbox, including core crypto, Public Key Infrastructure features, authentication protocols, biometrics, data protection (BitLocker, Encrypting File System), smart cards, Windows Hello and more. Prior to working on the security team, Mr. Ingalls was the General Manager for Microsoft’s SoftGrid development team in Boston, Product Unit Manager for System Center Configuration Manager, and General Manager for IT Global Operations with responsibility for managing Microsoft’s corporate data centers & networks worldwide.
