Join us for July’s monthly meeting with Rapid7 Threat intelligence Lead Rebekah Brown. Rebekah leads the Rapid7 threat intelligence programs, where her responsibilities include program architecture, analysis, and operations. She is a course author and instructor for SANS FOR578 – Cyber Threat Intelligence, and author or Intelligence Driven Incident Response.

In addition, ISSA Chapter President Justin White will lead an analysis of the most recent news and discuss how cyber attackers continue to evolve during his monthly Garden Fresh presentation. In this presentation, we will explore the trends that define today’s threat landscape such as recent cyber attacks, intelligence-led insights, and advanced defensive strategies.

Speaker

Rebekah Brown has spent more than a decade in the intelligence community. Her previous roles include NSA network warfare analyst, Operations Chief of a United States Marine Corps cyber unit, and a U.S. Cyber Command training and exercise lead. Rebekah has helped develop threat intelligence and security awareness programs at the federal, state, and local level, as well as in the private sector.
