Joe Sullivan will walk through some of the lessons he has learned building security teams at three different companies, with a focus on preparing the team for the sometimes constant interruptions and high profile crisis situations that can arise from security incidents.Joe joined Cloudflare as its first Chief Security Officer in 2018. Previously, he was the CSO at Uber (2.5 years) and at Facebook (7 years) and held security and legal roles at eBay and PayPal. Joe also served 8 years with the U.S. Department of Justice, working as a prosecutor focused on technology-related crimes. In 2016 he served on President Obama’s Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity. Joe has volunteered with several organizations that promote Internet safety and security, and is an active investor ¬†and advisor to security start-ups.

Bill Creasey will be speaking on running an industry leading bug bounty program to secure one of the most popular operating systems globally, Android. Bill is a cybersecurity professional with 20 years experience at companies like Microsoft, F5 Networks and Google. He is currently part of the Android security Team helping protect 2.5 billion devices through the Android security rewards program and incident response. He is passionate about protecting users and enabling all people to safely engage in the ever-expanding digital future.
