Detective Chris McNulty is a 21 year veteran of the Seattle Police Department and has been assigned as a full-time Task Force Officer with the Seattle Electronic Crimes Task Force since 2013.

Detective McNulty holds the following certifications: Network+, Security+, CEH, Cellebrite CCLO and CCPA, AccessData Certified Examiner.

Detective McNulty is currently a graduate student at City University Seattle studying Information Security. In addition to this, Detective McNulty is an All Source Intelligence Warrant Officer with the Army National Guard and has a current TS/SCI clearance.

Detective McNulty will present an overview of the Electronic Crimes Task Force (ECTF) model and the current implementation in Seattle. Along with discussing lessons learned from real world cases, the discussion is aimed at providing security professionals with a clear idea of what resources law enforcement can provide, law enforcement’s role specific to incident response, and the session will include an interactive dialogue between industry and law enforcement.

Justin White’s Garden Fresh segment on what went wrong (and occasionally right) in the world of major incidents is also featured.
